Hired by the board of $25M on-demand spend intelligence business to develop a value realization blueprint following recapitalization of the company.  Recommended repositioning the company to enable better communication with customers and partners, development of strategic partnerships, realignment of the product strategy to maximize customer value, and preparation of the company for an exit event.

Powershift was subsequently asked by the board to take on strategic and operational leadership of the company through an 18-month process with the objective of achieving a successful exit.  Delivered record breaking financial performance for the 2007 fiscal year.  Created new company positioning that clarified the company’s value proposition and strategic direction both internally and externally.  Managed and restructured the executive team and company operations to improve profitability and cash flow.  Developed and launched on-demand solutions to capture new growth markets.  Engaged bankers and managed the company through a strategic exit process.
